It is one of the last passenger railways in the country and one of the greatest tourist attractions that we have: on a journey that begins in Los Mochis and ends in the city of Chihuahua, the “Chepe” crosses 37 bridges and 86 tunnels in its passage through the Sierra Tarahumara. The route is famous for its spectacular views, but now and thanks to Control4 technology, passengers will travel in automated cars: through a touchscreen they have control of curtains, lighting, audio, temperature and cameras installed in each car. It must be said that this is one of the most interesting projects in which Control4 has participated due to the level of complexity it represented. Installing the automation was a challenge since a train does not have services such as electricity and constant internet, however, with our client we were able to solve it; We are not only proud of the result, for us it is also a privilege to support Mexican tourism.
